Launch of the technical assistance mission for the regional anchoring of Zarzis Business Park
A World Bank delegation led by Ms Dina Ranarifidy (in charge of the urban and regional development portfolio) visited Zarzis on 6th and 7th February 2023.
Following meetings with the authorities of the governorate of Médenine and the municipalities of Zarzis and the South Development Office, the delegation visited Zarzis Business Park.
This technical assistance aims to support PAEZ in achieving its vision of being a catalyst for the economic and social development of southern Tunisia.
More specifically, the aim is to support :
– Improving the Park’s regional and local roots through participative governance involving the regional stakeholders concerned;
– Networking the Park with other regional and international structures ;
– Strengthening the capacities and prerequisites of regional players, particularly in terms of territorial marketing and fund-raising.
