Signing of Memorandum of Understanding between Zarzis Business Park and Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo (Italy)

As part of its strategy to strengthen cooperative relationships with investment support entities in Tunisia and abroad and to highlight regional opportunities and advantages, Zarzis Business Park signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo (Italy) on July 28, 2023, at the Zarzis Smart Center.

Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo, operating in 70 countries with a membership exceeding 150,000, focuses on supporting Italian companies in Africa, the Mediterranean, and the Middle East.

Key objectives of this Memorandum of Understanding includes:

• Encouraging Italian firms to invest in Zarzis Business Park.
• Collaboratively designing and implementing promotional and training initiatives.
• Enhancing cooperative ties through trade mission organization.
• Facilitating successful business transactions for Italian and Tunisian enterprises in Tunisia and Italy.
• Coordinating informational and promotional events jointly held in Tunisia and Italy.

The signing event was graced by the presence of the Governor of Medenine, H.E the Italian Ambassador to Tunisia, and the General Director of Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo.

It is noteworthy that Zarzis Business Park currently hosts 50 companies, including three Italian firms specializing in industrial and logistical sectors.
