Strategic Engagement: Zarzis Business Park Welcomes ZLECAF Delegation

On Wednesday, August 16, 2023, Zarzis Business Park received a high-level delegation from the Secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area (ZLECAF), led by Ms. Demitta Chinwude Gyang, Chief of Customs Cooperation and Senior Adviser to the Secretary-General. This visit was part of the implementation of the ZLECAF Secretariat’s project on “Land Commercial Corridors” benefiting North African countries.

A working session was held, attended by representatives from the Ministry of Trade and Export Development, as well as the Regional Customs Directorate of Medenine. The session focused on presenting the strengths of Zarzis Business Park, including its strategic geographical position facilitating promising prospects for trade development with sub-Saharan African countries, its modern internal infrastructure, tax incentives, and comprehensive support and assistance services.
