Strategic Partnership: Zarzis Business Park and Coega Development Corporation MOU

Zarzis Park of Economic Activities signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Coega Development Corporation, its South African counterpart from the Eastern Cape Special Economic Zone, during a ceremony held on Thursday, September 14, at the Governorate headquarters.

The event was under the aegis of the Governor of Médenine and attended by the Eastern Cape Governor, H.E the Ambassador of South Africa to Tunisia, and a delegation of South African officials and business leaders.

Following the ceremony, the Eastern Cape delegation visited Zarzis Park of Economic Activities , where they were presented with the benefits and incentives available to investors at the park, as well as potential cooperation opportunities between Zarzis and the Coega Special Economic Zone.

The main objectives of the MOU includes:

• Joint organization of promotional activities and events.
• Exchange of information and best practices, especially regarding the investment climate, marketing, and communications.
• Training in marketing, infrastructure development, and business development.
• Technical collaboration in renewable energy consulting services.
